The area around Verona and Lake Garda

Lake Garda is one of the most popular holiday destinations among Scandinavian and German tourists. If you drive around the lake you will find one beautiful and picturesque town after another. Verona Cup is located in the southern part of Lake Garda, close to the major theme parks such as Gardaland and Moviestudios. From Peschiera and Veronello there are only approx. 15 – 20 min. drive to Gardaland and approx. 20 min to Moviestudios.

We are also very close to one of the most famous cities in Italy – Verona. Verona is not only the city where Shakespeare’s Romeo and Julie met, but also contains some of Italy’s most interesting historical sites. Thus, the city offers a fantastic environment where the romance feels through both the contemporary and fictional inhabitants and the beautiful buildings. As a tourist in Verona there is always something interesting to do or to find some interesting places to see. The city is filled with entertainment and cultural sights. In Verona there are activities for every taste and desire.

One of Verona’s main tourist attractions is the Roman theater. The Roman Theater is one of the world’s most impressive monuments. Built in the first century, this monument was later expanded in the third century. There is a large selection of cafés, bars, pubs and discos. There are also many opportunities for those who want to experience Italian culture. Eg. to experience Italian cuisine at an Italian restaurant or to enjoy a pizza at a local pizzeria. And there are really good shopping in Verona. Rejoice 🙂
