During the Verona Cup 2022, in collaboration with Behind the Jersey, we will broadcast podcasts live from Bella Italia during the tournament. And the participants in this year’s Verona Cup are hereby invited to participate in this event. We expect some enjoyable hours with podcasts that come around a lot – and where it is managed professionally by Jan Michaelsen from the podcast “Bag Om Trøjen”.
What is it all about?
Simply submit a picture of a football shirt which for one reason or another means something special to you. It could be a fun story attached to the jersey, a major sporting event or the like. In the podcast (if your submitted proposals are selected) we will talk about the story behind the election and why this particular jersey is important to you. There will be an audience and lots of atmosphere during the filming – just as our TV team will definitely come by.
Who can participate?
All of you who travel to Italy as participants in the Verona Cup can do that – that is, players, coaches, managers and fellow travelers. You can participate as individuals and as your team in general.
Who will be in the podcast?
The clubs that submit the most suggestions / pictures will be a part of the event. We reserve the right to also include a few others who have a fun or different approach.
When does it take place?
The program is not yet fully determined, but we expect to make 4 podcasts during the tournament. These will be produced primarily in the afternoon / evening for the sake of running the tournament program, so that everyone has the opportunity to be present.
What do you have to do to participate?
- Write Behind the jersey + your club and team port in the subject line in an email.
- Attach a photo to yourself with the shirt
- Write a short explanation of why this particular shirt means a lot to you and send the email to info@veronacup.com.
The teams that submit the most photos are in the selection for the podcast down in Italy, where the entire team is invited to the stage / studio.
